VendorHearth Pro uses a license key to verify your installation and provide access to eligible plugin updates and support.
After installing VendorHearth Pro, activate your license from the WordPress dashboard.
Open the License Page #
From your WordPress Dashboard, go to:
VendorHearth Pro → License
The License page displays the current license status for your website.
Activate Your License #
- Enter your VendorHearth Pro license key.
- Select Activate License.
- VendorHearth will contact the licensing server and verify the license.
- Once successful, the License page will show that your license is active.
Your saved license key is masked in the WordPress interface for security.
Where Do I Get My License Key? #
Your VendorHearth Pro license key is provided when you purchase a VendorHearth Pro license.
Keep your license key private. It should not be posted publicly or shared with other organizations.
License Duration #
A VendorHearth Pro license is valid for the license period associated with your purchase.
VendorHearth Pro licenses do not automatically renew. If you want to continue receiving eligible updates and support after your license period ends, you will need to manually renew your license.
What Happens When My License Expires? #
VendorHearth Pro does not stop working when your license expires.
The version of VendorHearth Pro already installed on your website will continue to operate. Your existing features and data remain available, including your:
- Events
- Vendor accounts and profiles
- Applications
- Payments and payment records
- Season Passes
- Agreements and acceptance records
- Vendor documents
- Communications
- Booth information
- Vendor Spotlights
- Reports and other VendorHearth records
Your vendors and authorized staff can also continue using the VendorHearth features already installed on your website.
An expired license primarily affects your eligibility for future VendorHearth Pro software updates and support.
This means you are not required to renew your license simply to continue using the version you already have.
However, renewing your license is recommended if you want continued access to new versions, bug fixes, compatibility updates, security-related updates, new features, and eligible VendorHearth support.
Your Data Is Not Removed #
Expiration does not delete, reset, or deactivate your VendorHearth database.
Renewing later also does not require you to reinstall VendorHearth or start over. Once an eligible license is renewed and activated, the installation can resume receiving available updates.
Moving VendorHearth to Another Website #
If you need to move your VendorHearth Pro license to another WordPress installation, deactivate the license on the existing website before activating it on the new website.
Go to:
VendorHearth Pro → License
and use the available license deactivation option.
You can then enter the license key on the new installation.
License Troubleshooting #
If your license does not activate:
- Confirm that the license key was entered correctly.
- Make sure your website can make outgoing connections.
- Confirm that the license has not expired.
- Confirm that the license is not already active on another website beyond the number of sites allowed by your license.
Temporary communication problems between your website and the licensing server may also prevent immediate validation.
Next Step #
Once your VendorHearth Pro license is active, continue to Using the Setup Wizard.
