# Installing VendorHearth Pro

VendorHearth Pro is installed through the WordPress dashboard like other premium WordPress plugins.

Before beginning, make sure you have downloaded the VendorHearth Pro ZIP file and have Administrator access to your WordPress website.

## Install VendorHearth Pro

1. Sign in to your **WordPress Dashboard**.
2. Go to **Plugins → Add Plugin**.
3. Select **Upload Plugin**.
4. Select **Choose File** and locate the VendorHearth Pro ZIP file on your computer.
5. Select **Install Now**.
6. When installation is complete, select **Activate Plugin**.

Do not unzip the VendorHearth Pro file before uploading it to WordPress.

## After Activation

Once VendorHearth Pro is activated, a new **VendorHearth Pro** section will appear in your WordPress administration menu.

VendorHearth will also prepare the database tables, user roles, and other components required by the system.

The plugin can create the front-end pages used for features such as:

- Vendor Registration
- Vendor Login
- Vendor Dashboard
- Vendor Check-In
- Vendor Event Packets
- Vendor Relations
- Organizer Portal

These pages allow vendors and authorized staff to use VendorHearth without requiring access to the main WordPress administration area.

## Complete Initial Setup

After activation, open:

**VendorHearth Pro → Setup Wizard**

The Setup Wizard will guide you through the initial configuration of VendorHearth.

You should complete the Setup Wizard before opening VendorHearth to real vendor applications.

## Having Trouble Installing?

If WordPress cannot install the plugin, confirm that:

- Your website meets the VendorHearth Pro system requirements.
- You are uploading the original `.zip` plugin file.
- Your WordPress account has Administrator permissions.
- Your hosting account allows WordPress plugin uploads.

If VendorHearth installs successfully but something does not appear to be working correctly, review **VendorHearth Pro → System Readiness**.

## Next Step

Once VendorHearth Pro is installed and activated, continue to **Activating Your VendorHearth Pro License**.
